Mel B Opens Up About Being Removed from the Spice Girls Group Chat
If you want to be in the Spice Girls group chat, you need to watch what you say.
Mel B—real name Melanie Brown and formerly known as Scary Spice—admitted that she has been kicked out of the WhatsApp group multiple times.
“Yeah, I always get kicked out,” she confessed during an appearance on This Morning when Alison Hammond asked her about it. “Because I get really excited when it comes to Spice Girls, since it’s been 30 years and we have a lot to celebrate. The fact that we are all still healthy, living life, and still keeping in touch. It’s nice.”
When asked if she would share more details, Mel jokingly responded, “I can’t say anything else to get myself kicked out. Don’t try, Alison.”
As Alison pointed out, Mel is the only original member out of the five—Victoria Beckham, Geri Halliwell, Melanie C., and Emma Bunton—to mention a possible reunion.
In response to Alison mentioning that the other members deny the possibility, the 48-year-old singer said, “They’re just being silly.”
