In a story that sounds like it could be straight out of an episode of It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia, DeVito revealed on a 2022 episode of the The Always Sunny podcast that he experimented with styling hair for funerals after the person had passed away.
After a client passed away, her family requested that DeVito style her hair, as the Taxi star recounted, leading to him styling the hair of several more deceased individuals.
“I would go to the morgue and see them lying there, lifeless, already prepared by the mortician,” he remembered. “I would use dry setting lotion to curl their hair, set it in place, then take it out and fluff it up a bit.”
