Gabbriette Bechtel is prepared to settle down with Matty Healy.
Just under a month after the 26-year-old announced her engagement to The 1975 frontman, 32, Gabbriette is sharing her visions for their future as a couple.
“When I have children,” she revealed to British Vogue in an interview published on July 16, “we will have dinner together every night—without phones—so we can appreciate the small things and acknowledge people’s joy.”
For now, Gabbriette is savoring the present moment.
“I enjoy being in love,” she added. “In the past, I thought I was in love, but I was simply serving someone else.”
Offering advice on finding a lifelong partner, the model also shared some details about the early stages of her relationship with Matty—and how her loved ones perceive him.
“Respond to all your direct messages and heed the advice of your closest friends,” she playfully remarked. “If they approve of someone, you should listen to them.”
