Matthew Stafford’s wife issues apology for stating she previously dated his backup quarterback
Kelly, a former UGA cheerleader, began dating Matthew during his freshman year at Georgia Bulldogs. They got married in 2015 and have twin girls, Chandler and Sawyer, who are 6 years old, as well as daughters Hunter (5) and Tyler (3).
Despite their happy family now, Kelly revealed that their relationship had a rocky start. Matthew wanted casual dating, but Kelly did not. “Long story short, wasn’t that cute of a relationship at first,” she shared on the June 11 episode of the Off The Vine with Kaitlyn Bristowe podcast. “I hated him. I loved him.”
