Potential Charges for Suppliers of Ketamine that may have Contributed to Matthew Perry’s Death
The medical examiner’s report highlighted that despite Perry undergoing ketamine infusion therapy for depression and anxiety a week before his passing, the traces of the medication found in his stomach did not align with the therapy’s timeframe due to ketamine’s short half-life of 3 to 4 hours.
The actor known for ‘Whole Nine Yards’ had struggled with addiction to prescription painkillers and alcohol, chronicling his journey to sobriety in his 2022 memoir, ‘Friends, Lovers and the Big Terrible Thing’.
Throughout the investigation, Perry’s loved ones, including his ‘Friends’ costars, have shared cherished memories of him.
“I believe he’s one of the funniest people in the world,” Courteney Cox expressed on CBS Sunday Morning in May. “He had a huge heart and faced struggles. I’m grateful for the years of working closely with him.”
Cox, who portrayed Perry’s onscreen love interest, mentioned feeling his presence often, stating, “I think there are guiding spirits around us. I sense Matthew’s presence for sure.”
