The Masked Singer surprised viewers with a hilarious twist on its latest episode.
During the season 11 premiere on March 6, host Nick Cannon fell victim to a prank after a night of amazing performances.
New contestants Goldfish, Starfish, Ugly Sweater, and Lovebird wowed judges Jenny McCarthy, Robin Thicke, Rita Ora, and Ken Jeong with their covers. The night took a surprising turn when Book, who performed “So Sick” by Ne-Yo, impressed everyone.
“One of the most charming performances I’ve ever seen,” Nick commented, while Book described it as their “most novel experience yet.”
However, the final reveal was not a mystery celebrity vying for The Masked Singer title. It was actually Cannon’s friend and prank rival, Kevin Hart!
After Robin correctly guessed the comedian’s identity, Book removed his costume and surprised the panelists.
