Mary Bonnet’s Response to Drama between Bre Tiesi and Chelsea Lazkani.
Bre claimed that Chelsea was already aware of the cheating allegations before filming began and that they had a conversation off-camera.
“I informed her months prior to filming,” she told E! on Sept. 26. “I told her before Amanda’s involvement, and I informed her that production had requested a meeting.”
However, Chelsea has a different perspective.
Accusing Bre of not having a storyline this season, Chelsea revealed during an Instagram Live with Jessie Woo on Sept. 9, “Bre made it clear that she had information about me,” and informed production, “which is why they set up the scene with Amanda.”
Upon learning about the meeting with Amanda from Emma, Chelsea requested production to arrange a meeting between her and Bre to address the rumor before it spread further.
“I said, ‘This can be a storyline,'” she explained. “So I told production, ‘I want Bre to tell me. I don’t want this rumor circulating among others before reaching me.'”
Chelsea continued, “I witnessed her pretend to be a ‘girl’s girl’ and act like she wanted to warn me about a scene that I had planned because I knew things could have turned out worse.” (E! News reached out to Netflix for comment but has not received a response yet).
Regarding the impact of the rumor on her divorce, Chelsea emphasized in an interview with Entertainment Tonight that the rumor “played no role in the breakdown of my marriage.”
