Maria Georgas Opens Up About Jenn Tran and Devin Strader Split
During the live season finale, it was revealed that Devin had not only started following Maria on Instagram, but had also gone “clubbing in New York City” shortly after their breakup.
On the final episode of Bachelorette, Jenn expressed her confusion and disappointment, saying, “I just don’t understand why you would do something like that. It’s so disrespectful to everything we shared and completely undermines the relationship.”
Devin’s efforts to reconnect with Maria were especially hurtful to Jenn, who, along with former contestant Daisy Kent, was a top contender for the Bachelorette position after competing for the affection of Bachelor Joey Graziadei in season 21.
Contestant Sam McKinney also revealed that the bachelors were surprised by Jenn’s selection. “When we arrived, we had no idea who the Bachelorette would be. But if anyone says they didn’t expect it to be Daisy or Maria, they’re lying,” he admitted during After the Final Rose.
