Manju Warrier recently shared details about her role in the upcoming Rajinikanth starrer Vettaiyan in a new interview. The actress also talked about the progress of the project.
Manju Warrier discusses her character in Rajinikath’s Vettaiyan
In a recent interview with Kaumudy Movies, popular actress Manju Warrier revealed insights about her highly anticipated movie with the legendary actor Rajinikanth, directed by T Gnanavel.
Describing her character in the film as Rajinikanth’s wife, she mentioned, “This is my first time working with Rajini sir and Gnanavel sir, who directed Jai Bhim. It’s a powerful combination and will definitely be a classic Rajinikanth film.”
Manju also mentioned that the film is currently in post-production, with filming already completed. She has yet to begin dubbing for the movie.

Vettaiyan is an upcoming Tamil film starring Rajinikanth along with a stellar cast that includes Amitabh Bachchan, Fahadh Faasil, Ritika Singh, Manju Warrier, and Rana Daggubati in key roles.
Directed by T.J. Gnanavel and produced by A. Subaskaran under Lyca Productions, the film’s music is composed by Anirudh Ravichander.
Rana Daggubati mentioned that Vettaiyan offers a different experience from typical Rajinikanth movies and promises to be an action-packed thriller where Rajinikanth portrays a retired police officer unraveling a dark mystery.
Manju Warrier’s upcoming projects
Aside from Vettaiyan, Manju Warrier is also set to star in two other films. The first one, Footage, directed by Saiju Sreedharan, has been delayed due to heavy rains in Kerala. The movie also features Visakh Nair and Gayathri Ashok.
Additionally, she will appear alongside superstar Vijay Sethupathi in Viduthalai Part 2, the sequel to Viduthalai. The crime-thriller follows the story of Kumaresan, a constable tasked with arresting Perumal, a teacher and separatist leader.
