Despite being in the spotlight for 25 years, Mandy Moore is not nostalgic for her teen pop star days.
She was featured on the cover of Vanity Fair in 2003 with other teenage icons like Hilary Duff, Amanda Bynes, Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen, Alexis Bledel, Evan Rachel Wood, Raven-Symoné and Lindsay Lohan, four years after releasing her debut song “Candy.”
Reflecting on the experience on Valeria Lipovetsky‘s Not Alone podcast on April 9, Moore mentioned the teenage drama that took place. She felt like an outsider and recalled a fight over a boy.
She also reminisced about her relationship with then-boyfriend Andy Roddick, mentioning that one of the Olsen twins had a crush on him at the time, which made her feel cool.
