Health Update: Mamie Laverock’s Family Clarifies Fall Was Unintended
A spokesperson from Providence Health Care told E! News that due to privacy reasons, they do not comment on specific patient incidents. However, they mentioned that in cases related to patient safety, an internal critical incident review is conducted to investigate what happened and make suggestions for enhancing patient safety.
“Our thoughts are with the patient, family, and all those affected by this event,” the spokesperson added, “and we send our best wishes for a speedy recovery.”

Mamie was brought to the hospital on May 11 after experiencing a medical emergency, as stated in a GoFundMe page created by her parents.
Her parents later provided an update, revealing that on May 26th, Mamie, who had been receiving intensive treatment for the past two weeks, was guided out of a secure unit in the hospital and ended up falling from a five-story balcony walkway.
