At midnight, Karisma Kapoor’s close friend Malaika Arora took to social media to express her love and admiration for her best friend. The actress and talented dancer shared a series of unseen pictures that captured the special moments they have shared together.
In the first selfie taken by the birthday girl, all five ladies are seen flaunting their red-lipped smiles. Malaika and Lolo are joined by Kareena Kapoor Khan and Amrita Arora Ladak. Sharing the images, Malaika wrote, “U make 50 look so effortless lolo @therealkarismakapoor. Happy birthday …. We love u.”
Karisma Kapoor opened up about her break from showbiz
During an interview with Grazia, the veteran actress talked about her decision to take a break from showbiz and step away from the spotlight. The Dil To Pagal Hai star mentioned that at that time, she had young children and it was important for her as a mother to be present with them so she wouldn’t miss out on those moments. “I think that’s a choice that each individual needs to make and that’s a choice I made,” she stated adding that she doesn’t like the word comeback.
She went on to say, “I don’t regret anything. It’s important to be a confident human being and make those choices in life.” The birthday girl also shared that she loves the experience of watching a film on the big screen and never imagined she would work on an OTT show, but she overcame her nerves and did her upcoming show, Brown. She attributed her ability to make it happen to the determination of mothers.
For those unaware, Karisma Kapoor made her OTT debut with Homi Adjania’s Murder Mubarak where she portrayed the role of Shehnaaz Noorani.
