Madonna’s Brother Christopher Ciccone Passes Away at Age 63
Madonna‘s extended family is in mourning.
The pop queen’s younger brother Christopher Ciccone, one of her seven siblings, has passed away at the age of 63. He died of cancer on October 4, as confirmed by his representative in a statement to People. He was surrounded by his husband Ray Thacker at the time of his peaceful passing.
E! News has reached out to Christopher’s representative for comment but has not received a response yet.
Christopher is survived by his partner, sister Madonna, siblings Martin Ciccone, Paula Ciccone, Melanie Ciccone, Jennifer Ciccone, Mario Ciccone, and father Silvio “Tony” Ciccone. He was preceded in death by his oldest brother Anthony Ciccone, mother Madonna Ciccone, and stepmother Joan Ciccone.
Madonna, who is 66 years old, has not made a public statement about Christopher’s passing. Their relationship had been strained since his tell-all autobiography Life With My Sister Madonna was released 16 years ago.
