Machine Gun Kelly Reflects on his Sobriety Journey and Expresses Gratitude towards Megan Fox for Her Support

Machine Gun Kelly has opened up about his struggles with addiction and his journey to sobriety. The artist, known for his song “Rap Devil,” candidly shared about his time in rehab and his commitment to staying sober.
In a recent podcast appearance, Kelly also took the time to thank his partner, actress Megan Fox, for her support in his recovery process.
During an episode of Bunnie Xo’s podcast, “Dumb Blonde,” released on August 5, 2024, Machine Gun Kelly discussed his battles with mental health issues and alcohol abuse. He spoke about his decision to go sober and how he has managed to stay away from alcohol since last August.
The musician revealed that this was his first time seeking help in rehab and disclosed his past struggles with substances like marijuana, alcohol, hydrocodone, Percocet, and Vyvanse.
Throughout the podcast, Kelly expressed gratitude for Megan Fox’s support during his withdrawal from drugs and credited her with helping him through a challenging time.
In a moment of vulnerability, Machine Gun Kelly shared, “I continue to embrace the difficulty of this journey, but I forgive myself and accept it.” He also mentioned that he is grateful for the opportunity to show his true self to the world, a departure from expressing himself solely through his music.
During the podcast, Kelly and the host, Bunnie Xo, discussed their upcoming collaboration with Jelly Roll on the track “Lonely Road,” where they humorously referred to themselves as KellyRoll.
The duo reminisced about a drinking contest they had after filming the music video for “Lonely Road,” with MGK joking about his confidence in his ability to out-drink his collaborator.
Additionally, Megan Fox and Bunnie are set to make appearances in the music video for Kelly Roll’s upcoming project.
