Upcoming Bollywood Biggie Featuring Alia Bhatt, Ranbir Kapoor, and Vicky Kaushal Delayed Due to Mumbai Rains – Here’s the Latest Information
Sanjay Leela Bhansali is known for directing movies like Devdas, Bajirao Mastani, Padmaavat, and others. Bhansali recently directed his debut series, Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar. The filmmaker is now preparing for his next project, Love & War. According to a new report, the upcoming film starring Alia Bhatt, Ranbir Kapoor, and Vicky Kaushal has been delayed due to Mumbai rains.
Reportedly, the shooting of Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Love & War has been postponed by two months. A source mentioned that Mumbai rains have affected the shoot of the film.
Love & War is expected to start filming by the end of November or early December this year. The source explained that set construction was delayed as the set got damaged due to rains earlier in the month.
The source also shared that Bhansali has more time to work on the script and music of Love & War. There will be more workshops with the lead actors, Alia Bhatt, Ranbir Kapoor, and Vicky Kaushal.
In September, a source disclosed that Bhansali is self-financing Love & War and has signed deals with Netflix and Saregama. Love & War is scheduled to release on March 20, 2026.
Love & War marks Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor’s second collaboration with Bhansali, while Vicky Kaushal is working with the filmmaker for the first time. Ranbir made his debut in Bhansali’s Saawariya in 2007.
