However, during Love Is Blind After the Altar, Natalie disclosed that she found “flirtatious messages” between her boyfriend and Shaina discussing “what could have been if they ended up together.” This discovery ultimately led to the end of their romance, as Natalie clarified, “That’s the reason why we’re no longer together.”
On After the Altar, Shaina adamantly denied the accusations, labeling them as “slander,” and told Shayne, “We’ve always kept things appropriate. We’ve never spent time alone together.” (Unbeknownst to Shaina at the time, they were actually spending time alone together.)
In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, Natalie hinted that there was “a lot more” to Shayne and Shaina’s communication that was not shown on screen. “I understand the limitations of fitting everything into three 45-minute episodes,” she said, “but I have evidence such as text messages and emails from Shayne discussing deleting and unsending Instagram messages, as well as the direct messages with Shaina.
