Clay shared his hesitation about marriage due to his father’s infidelity, while AD reassured him they would overcome their issues as a couple. Everything seemed fine between them.
However, when it came time to say “I do” at the altar, Clay surprised everyone by saying “I don’t” instead. He explained to AD that he didn’t feel ready for marriage and felt it wouldn’t be responsible to go through with it.
This revelation shocked AD, who tearfully felt their relationship was a waste of time.
Clay also admitted that financial and emotional concerns influenced his decision to walk away. He realized he wasn’t ready to be a husband and wasn’t deeply in love.
During the reunion, Clay expressed regret and desired to date AD again. AD remained unsure about reconciling with him.
AD disclosed that she went on a few dates with co-star Matthew Duliba after filming, but they are not in a relationship.
