Little Big Town Discovers Taylor Swift’s Unexpected Backstage Pastime
Even though Taylor moved away from her country roots after the 2014 release of 1989, she received a CMA Award in 2017 for “Better Man” by Little Big Town. In 2019, she confirmed that she would include it on her re-recorded album.
“I originally wrote the song ‘Better Man’ for Little Big Town, and it went on to win CMA Song of the Year,” she shared with Ryan Seacrest at the time. “I wrote it during the Red era—it was meant for the Red album. Fans have been hoping I would include my version of ‘Better Man’ on the Red album, and I think it’s a great idea!”
