Liam Payne’s emotional message about son Bear before tragedy struck.
The vocal coach, who worked with One Direction throughout their five-year run, shared a heartfelt message for Liam.
“Liam was a fantastic young man who had a passion for singing,” she expressed in an Instagram post on Oct. 17. “When I first met him, he was just a teenager, and that’s when One Direction was formed. His talent and dedication greatly influenced the band, especially in the early days when Liam always aimed for excellence during our sessions. Liam was not only talented but also fun-loving and enjoyable to be around; he even came up with funny names for some of my vocal exercises with his great sense of humor and positive energy.”
She went on to say, “I’ll always remember Liam as a respectful and kind-hearted young man.”
The vocal coach concluded by recounting a touching memory of the beloved former member of the boyband.
“During the world tours when my son Cai would join us, Liam would graciously invite him on his tour bus, play video games with him, and ensure his well-being. That’s the kind of person Liam was—warm and welcoming,” she reminisced. “Thank you for the wonderful years, dear Liam. You’ll forever hold a special place in my heart, and your voice will continue to resonate, not just in my recollections but also in the amazing songs. Rest in peace, dear one.”
