Lana Del Rey Ties the Knot with Alligator Wrangler Jeremy Dufrene in Swamp Ceremony
Instead of embodying the Brooklyn babe persona, Lana Del Rey has transformed into a bayou bride.
On September 26, the “Summertime Sadness” songstress exchanged vows with wildlife guide Jeremy Dufrene, as evidenced by photos obtained by the Daily Mail.
Honoring Jeremy’s affinity for the swamp, the wedding took place at the Arthur’s Airboat Tours docks in Louisiana, where he serves as a captain.
For the al fresco ceremony, Lana wore a traditional white lace gown with delicate flutter sleeves, styling her hair in a side ponytail adorned with a soft blue ribbon.
Meanwhile, Jeremy opted for a dark gray suit, white shirt, and brown shoes as he said his vows.
Just three days prior, the couple had obtained a marriage license in Lafourche Parish—where Jeremy is employed—on September 23, as confirmed by the Lafourche Parish Clerk of Court to People.
According to the parish’s regulations, the license is valid for 30 days from the date of application.
Although Lana and Jeremy recently sparked speculation about their relationship by showing affection at the Reading Festival in England, the couple has, in fact, been acquainted for several years.
