Lainey Wilson Embraces Miley Cyrus Persona at Hannah Montana Themed Parties
Before rising to country music stardom, Lainey Wilson had a unique side gig. In fact, the “Watermelon Moonshine” singer confessed that she used to impersonate Miley Cyrus during the Hannah Montana era at kids’ birthday parties.
“I love Miley Cyrus, I used to impersonate Hannah Montana when I was little,” Lainey shared with E! News outside the Moody Center in Austin, Texas on April 7. “I did that for like five years. That was my middle school, high school job.”
Her talent for impersonating Miley not only entertained children at events like birthday parties, fairs, festivals, and fundraisers for St. Jude, but also paved the way for her career in music.
“Every weekend I would do birthday parties, fairs, festivals, St. Jude, all of it,” she revealed. “I would open up as Lainey Wilson for ‘Hannah Montana.'” She also mentioned that her favorite track on Beyoncé’s Cowboy Carter is “II Most Wanted” due to the featured artist, the “Flowers” singer.
From her humble beginnings as a party entertainer to now gracing red carpets and making waves in the music industry, Lainey Wilson is truly living an extraordinary life.
