Lady Gaga has announced the release of her new musical work titled Harlequin, set to drop on September 27. The album serves as a companion piece to Joker: Folie à Deux, in which she stars alongside Joaquin Phoenix.
Referred to as LG 6.5, the album includes a 13-song tracklist with contributions from Gaga:

In an interview with Vogue, Gaga shared insights about her role in the film and working with a live piano player, Alex Smith, for some scenes. She mentioned her character’s immaturity and how she finds it fascinating.
Joker: Folie à Deux is set to release in theaters on October 3 and has already premiered at the Venice Film Festival to mixed reviews. Gaga’s recent success includes her collaboration with Bruno Mars on Die With a Smile and her performance at the Paris Olympics ceremony.
Harlequin marks Gaga’s latest film role after A Star is Born and House of Gucci, with previous appearances in American Horror Story as well.
