Kylie Kelce Shares Her Thoughts on Harrison Butker’s Graduation Address
Kylie Kelce understands that stressing and obsessing over someone else is not enjoyable.
At 32 years old, she, along with her husband Jason Kelce, shares daughters Wyatt (4), Elliotte (3), and Bennett (16 months). Recently, she responded to Kansas City Chiefs kicker Harrison Butker‘s controversial commencement speech at Benedictine College.
“I believe everyone is entitled to their own opinion,” Kylie explained in a June 13 interview with Cheddar. “I hope that those who do not agree with the views expressed during the graduation ceremony understand that achieving this milestone is significant.”
Harrison’s speech, which encouraged young women to pursue homemaking, faced criticism. Kylie advised the women who did not share his views to ignore them.
“The women graduating from that class have accomplished something truly remarkable,” she added. “Their education will stay with them forever. I trust they were celebrated appropriately, regardless of their beliefs.”
Kylie also recognized the young women who resonated with Harrison’s message and urged them to forge their own paths.
