Krystal Anderson‘s loved ones are sharing their grief.
Her husband Clayton Anderson spoke out about her tragic passing after the former Kansas City Chiefs cheerleader died at the age of 40.
“I feel lost,” he told local outlet Fox4. “There’s a lot of people in this house and it feels empty.”
Krystal passed away on March 20 shortly after giving birth to her stillborn daughter Charlotte Willow. Her death was a result of sepsis and organ failure, as mentioned in her obituary. She had also experienced a pregnancy loss with her son James Charles in 2022.
Following her passing, the Kansas City Chiefs cheer team expressed their deep sadness and honored Krystal’s legacy. She had cheered with the team for over 100 games from 2006 to 2016 and had significant accomplishments, such as attending the Pro Bowl as the Chiefs representative in 2015, serving as a team captain, cheering during the London game, and visiting troops worldwide including in Iraq, Kuwait, and the United States.
The team’s statement on Instagram on March 22 highlighted how Krystal was cherished by her teammates, fans, and strangers who quickly became friends.
