Update on Kristen Doute’s Friendship with Stassi Schroeder Leaves Fans Surprised
Kristen Doute and Stassi Schroeder have recently put their friendship on hold.
Just a month after Kristen got engaged to her boyfriend Luke Broderick, she shared that she has not received any congratulations from her former Vanderpump Rules co-star following the proposal in September.
During the Oct. 4 episode of their Balancing Act podcast, Kristen revealed, “I have not heard from Stassi. I think the last time was on her anniversary when I wished her well, and we exchanged a few kind words. That’s pretty much it.”
Although they were best friends for many years, Kristen acknowledges that they have drifted apart recently.
“I’m at peace with that,” the 41-year-old explained. “I still have a lot of love for her and her family. That will never change. We have a lot of history, and she used to be like a sister to me.”
Despite their separation, there are no hard feelings between the two. They were both let go from VPR in 2020 after it was revealed that they made a false complaint to the police about former co-star Faith Stowers, who is Black.
