Kristen Doute Shares Thoughts on Jax Taylor and Brittany Cartwright’s Breakup
Kristen Doute is sharing her thoughts on Jax Taylor and Brittany Cartwright‘s recent breakup.
Two weeks after the The Valley co-stars announced their split following four years of marriage, the former Vanderpump Rules star commented on her friends’ relationship status.
“I’m proud of Brittany for setting boundaries and making decisions for herself,” Kristen told E! News on March 14 at the premiere party for The Valley. “But I hope they can reconcile, though it’s ultimately up to Jax.”
Despite initially hesitating to return to reality TV with her boyfriend Luke Broderick, Kristen has formed a closer bond with Brittany through the new series.
“I spend about four to five days a week with Brittany,” the 41-year-old revealed. “I still see Jax and Brittany together, and I’ve been open with both of them about where the responsibility lies in fixing the relationship. It’s up to Jax to meet Brittany’s needs. I will support her through this.”
“I believe that Jax has the chance to make things right if he listens to Brittany and puts in the effort,” Kristen added. “She’s given him the opportunity to do so.”
