The Cause of Death for Kris Jenner’s Sister Karen Houghton has been Uncovered
New information has recently come to light regarding Karen Houghton’s final moments.
Kris Jenner’s younger sister passed away unexpectedly on March 18th at the age of 65, and her cause of death has now been disclosed.
Karen’s death was attributed to heart issues, specifically cardiac arrest and sudden cardiac arrhythmia as stated in her death certificate obtained by TMZ on April 12th.
The document also mentioned Type 2 diabetes as a secondary, underlying cause and revealed that Karen, a former flight attendant, had bipolar disorder. Following her passing, she was cremated. Karen, the youngest daughter of Mary Jo “M. J.” Shannon and Robert Houghton, was remembered with love and affection.
In a heartfelt social media tribute last month, Kris honored her sister’s memory, describing Karen as a beautiful person both inside and out.
“Karen was a person of exceptional kindness, sensitivity, and humor. She always expressed gratitude for her life, cherished her family and friends, and especially adored her daughter,” wrote the 68-year-old on March 19th.
