Kris Jenner has Hysterectomy Following Diagnosis of Ovary Tumor
Kris Jenner has encountered an unexpected obstacle in her health journey.
Following her announcement to undergo ovary removal surgery due to a tumor, the reality star made the decision to also have her uterus removed to prevent any potential growth.
“I’m going to have a hysterectomy,” Kris shared with friends Kathy Hilton and Faye Resnick on the July 11 episode of The Kardashians. “Initially it was just about removing the ovaries, but then I received a phone call today.”
As per the 68-year-old, her doctor recommended the removal of both ovaries and uterus as the best course of action for her health going forward.
“They discovered something, and now we’re taking steps to address it,” Kris explained. She is the mother of Kourtney Kardashian, Kim Kardashian, Khloe Kardashian, Rob Kardashian, Kendall Jenner, and Kylie Jenner. “I’m choosing to remove something that brought me the best parts of my life.”
