Kourtney Kardashian Shares the Reason Behind “Pumping” Her Breast Milk
However, this is not Kourtney’s first time nursing. The 44-year-old, who is also a mother to Mason, 14, Penelope, 11, and Reign, 9, with ex Scott Disick, has been transparent about her breastfeeding journey.
She recently provided insight into her postpartum experience with baby Rocky just last week.
“Dear new mothers,” she began her April 7 Instagram Story. “Your body is beautiful at every stage. During pregnancy as we are glowing and growing, postpartum as we are healing and shrinking, and then the period which I find the most challenging as our bodies are still adjusting. And if you’re breastfeeding, that’s a whole other aspect.”
Before concluding her post, she gave herself a gentle reminder during this transition period.
“I try to be compassionate towards myself as my body adapts to a new norm,” she continued. “The pressure to quickly return to normal when everything is new and unfamiliar is not realistic.”
As she expressed, “Life is beautiful.”
