The Kardashians star recently opened up about her experience with in vitro fertilization (IVF) during an Instagram Q&A, revealing how she and her husband, Travis Barker, welcomed their now 6-month-old son, Rocky Thirteen Barker.
Responding to a follower who shared their struggles with failed IVF cycles, Kourtney empathized with their pain.
“I personally went through a year of trying, including 5 failed IVF cycles and 3 retrievals. Eventually, I decided to stop and trust in God’s plan for my life,” she shared on May 27 via Instagram Stories. “I prayed for whatever was meant to be for us, focusing on my health, and believing in the power of faith. I understand the despair of feeling like you’re at a standstill, but having faith in God’s plan and offering your prayers can be incredibly empowering. I wish you all the best.”
Later, Kourtney clarified her remarks as she realized her initial response may have caused confusion.
“To clarify, I actually conceived naturally, not through IVF, one year after discontinuing fertility treatments,” she explained in a separate post. “It was truly a blessing from God, and it happened on Valentine’s Day.”
