Shah Rukh Khan and Suhana Khan’s upcoming project to be revealed on the superstar’s birthday – What we have gathered so far
One of the most highly anticipated upcoming films is King, starring Shah Rukh Khan and his daughter Suhana Khan. Fans are eagerly awaiting updates on this project, which is directed by Sujoy Ghosh. Reports suggest that the official announcement of the film will be made on Shah Rukh Khan’s birthday on November 2, 2024.
Mid Day has reported that Anirudh Ravichander will be composing the music for King, and has already prepared the background score for the announcement video. It is also mentioned that both Shah Rukh Khan and Suhana Khan have started training for the action sequences in the film.
The shooting location for the film has been chosen as Budapest in January, due to its cold weather which will provide the required overcast and grey atmosphere for the setting of the film. The first shooting schedule is set to begin in January, with dialogues penned by Abbas Tyrewala.
The plot of King revolves around two characters brought together by challenging circumstances. Shah Rukh Khan plays a complex don who mentors Suhana’s character, guiding her through a crime-ridden environment and testing her abilities against their shared adversary, played by Abhishek Bachchan.
Pre-production for the film will start in October, with the first shooting schedule in Budapest featuring Shah Rukh Khan, Suhana Khan, Abhay Verma, and Abhishek Bachchan. Leading Hollywood action directors are being considered for the project, with Siddharth Anand serving as the creative producer.
In a conversation with Variety, Shah Rukh Khan expressed that Sujoy Ghosh was the ideal director for the movie, as they aimed to create a film with a strong emotional foundation, packed with action and entertainment for a wide audience.
