King producer Siddharth Anand reflects on War and Bang Bang starring Hrithik Roshan on anniversary; director Sujoy Ghosh shares hilarious response
Hrithik Roshan teamed up with filmmaker Siddharth Anand for the first time in Bang Bang in 2014. The film was a huge success and continues to be enjoyed by audiences even after 10 years. In 2019, they collaborated again on the action thriller War, starring Tiger Shroff. Today, on October 2, it marks the 10th anniversary of Bang Bang and the 5th anniversary of War. Siddharth Anand reflected on the journeys of the films and expressed his gratitude. Director Sujoy Ghosh humorously commented, “You’re 15 years older bro!!”
Recently, Siddharth Anand shared his emotions on X (formerly Twitter) as Bang Bang reached 10 years and War reached 5 years. He wrote, “So – It’s a happy anniversary to me. 5 Years of WAR & 10 Years of BANG BANG. Films that changed it all for me. Look back with a heart full of gratitude.”
As people congratulated Siddharth for the milestone, Sujoy Ghosh jokingly mentioned his age. Many praised Anand for his contribution to Indian cinema. One user commented, “Happy anniversary. You have undoubtedly made a huge impact on filmmaking. Your films have introduced breathtakingly stylish action sequences, exceptional presentations, and top-notch VFX quality.”
Another user thanked Anand for showcasing Tiger Shroff in a unique way and expressed anticipation for his future projects. Siddharth Anand also worked on the film Fighter earlier this year with Hrithik Roshan, Deepika Padukone, Anil Kapoor, Karan Singh Grover, Akshay Oberoi, and others. Sujoy Ghosh is currently working on the action film King with Shah Rukh Khan and Suhana Khan.
