King Charles III and Queen Camilla are expressing their support in the midst of a tragic event.
The royal couple extended their condolences following the unexpected passing of Thomas Kingston, the spouse of Lady Gabriella Kingston, who is the daughter of Prince Michael of Kent.
“The King and The Queen have been made aware of Thomas’s passing,” stated a message from the palace on Feb. 27, as reported by People. “They stand alongside Prince and Princess Michael of Kent and all who knew him in mourning a beloved family member.”
The statement also included a special note of support for Prince Michael’s daughter and Thomas’s family, emphasizing, “Their Majesties offer their deepest thoughts and prayers to Gabriella and the entire Kingston family.”
On Feb. 27, the Kingston family confirmed Thomas’s passing, which occurred at a residence in Gloucestershire on Feb. 25, as reported by the Press Association. An investigation into the cause of the financier’s death will take place, but authorities have stated that there is no indication of any suspicious circumstances or external involvement.
