Kiernan Shipka Opens Up About the Passing of Sabrina Co-Star Chance Perdomo
Kiernan Shipka is bidding farewell to a cherished colleague.
The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina star shared a heartfelt tribute to Chance Perdomo—known for his role as Ambrose Spellman on the Netflix series—after his sudden passing at the age of 27.
“This news is truly heartbreaking,” Kiernan expressed on Instagram on April 2. “He was a truly unique soul. The most passionate, imaginative, loving, empathetic, and compassionate individual you could ever encounter.”
The 24-year-old fondly recalled her friend “Chancey Pants” for his playful nature, kindness, and sense of humor. “He never failed to bring a smile to my face,” she reflected, “and he always kept me entertained (even giving me piggyback rides to my trailer, which he did frequently. Thank you, Chance.)”
While the Mad Men star acknowledges his impact on her life, she also recognizes his influence on many others.
“His kindness was a true blessing for me and for countless others,” Kiernan remarked. “It’s difficult to imagine a world without him. I cherished him deeply, and that will never change.”
