Kiernan Shipka Shares Plans to Honor Late Costar Chance Perdomo
Kiernan Shipka is making sure the memory of Chance Perdomo lives on.
Over a week after her The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina costar passed away in a motorcycle accident at the age of 27, Kiernan is honoring Chance’s legacy and sharing it with the world.
“He was a true champion for many,” she shared with E! News’ Francesca Amiker at the Fashion Trust U.S. Awards on April 9. “He was so open, understanding, kind, and talented. I keep asking myself, ‘What would Chance want? What would Chance do?’ He had such a vibrant spirit. I want to honor that.”
While expressing her sadness over his death, the 24-year-old added, “He was a shining light and an incredibly kind, loving person. I can still hear his laughter.”
Despite the sorrow, Kiernan fondly remembers the joyful moments shared with Chance while portraying cousins Ambrose and Sabrina Spellman on the Netflix series.
“He once dubbed my new trailer on Sabrina as ‘Kierlandia,'” she recalled with a grin. “He even made a poster with my face labeled ‘Kierlandia.’ I arrived one day to find a huge photo of me on my trailer.
