Kid Cudi Sustains Foot Injury While Jumping Off Coachella Stage
Kid Cudi‘s quest for a great performance ended with a broken foot.
The artist behind “Day ‘N’ Nite” shared that he injured himself by leaping off the stage during his Coachella performance on April 20.
“This was me right after the fall in the ambulance,” he posted on Instagram on April 22. “All smiles like a G. No pain could have dampened the joy I felt from the show.”
The outpouring of support he received was truly uplifting.
“To everyone who was there yesterday and has been checking in on me and sending love, I F–KIN LOVE U!!!” Cudi added. “Coachella, that’s how we party. You know how we do it every time.”
To reassure his fans, the Grammy winner posted a picture of himself giving a thumbs up while being carried on a stretcher, along with other photos from his performance.
The incident happened towards the end of Cudi’s set. The rapper, known in real life as Scott Mescudi, leapt off the stage during his performance of “Best Memories.” After landing near a security guard, he was unable to stand, leading to him being escorted off stage and his set being cut short.
