What We Know About Kiara Advani and Sidharth Malhotra’s Collaboration for Maddock Films’ Love Story
Kiara Advani and Sidharth Malhotra captured the hearts of the audience in the 2021 film Shershaah with their on-screen chemistry. Fans of this real-life couple have been eagerly awaiting their reunion in another project, and it seems like their wish may soon come true. Reports suggest that they are in discussions with Maddock Films to collaborate on a love story.
According to a recent report in India Today, Kiara Advani and Sidharth Malhotra have initiated talks with Maddock Films for an upcoming love story project. While specific plot details remain undisclosed, sources indicate that this won’t be a conventional Bollywood romance story.
A source mentioned, “There is an intriguing twist and a unique element in this love story that will combine romance with fantasy elements.” The source further added that Maddock Films is working on creating a fresh and engaging film for the audience.
In Shershaah, Sidharth Malhotra portrayed the character of Captain Vikram Batra, while Kiara Advani essayed the role of his girlfriend Dimple Cheema. The biographical war film directed by Vishnuvardhan was released on Amazon Prime Video.
Earlier in 2024, during a fan segment in an exclusive conversation with Pinkvilla, Sidharth Malhotra was asked about the possibility of working with Kiara Advani in another romantic film. In response, he mentioned, “That’s up to asking the directors and filmmakers.”
Reflecting on the love they received for Shershaah, Sid expressed, “We are incredibly grateful for the love we received for that movie, even though the love story was a brief part of it. It was only about 12 to 15 minutes in the film, but the real-life love story of Captain Vikram Batra and Dimple also resonated well.”
The actor added, “We would be thrilled to take on a full-fledged romantic project. It’s all about finding the right content and script for us.”
Meanwhile, Sidharth Malhotra has the action thriller Race 4 in his future projects, where he will be seen opposite Saif Ali Khan. Kiara Advani is currently filming War 2 alongside Hrithik Roshan and is also part of Don 3 with Ranveer Singh.
