Khushi Kapoor praises sister Janhvi as her ‘pillar of support’; describes her as ‘like a second mother to me’
Janhvi Kapoor and Khushi Kapoor have always openly shown their love for each other. On Raksha Bandhan, the Archies actress shared what she loves most about having Janhvi as her sister. From raiding her wardrobe to receiving guidance from her, Khushi revealed it all.
In a video interview with Lifestyle Asia India, Khushi Kapoor expressed her deep love for her sister, actress Janhvi Kapoor. She mentioned that Janhvi is her main support system who guides her through everything, no matter how small or insignificant. Khushi also shared that Janhvi is the first person she turns to for advice.
“I feel like she is a bit of a parent to me. She talks me through everything and tells me I’m doing well,” Kapoor said. She also mentioned that Janhvi gives her pep talks. However, the most fun part of being Janhvi’s sister according to Khushi is being able to borrow her clothes and shoes, which she considers a great bonus. Last month, Boney Kapoor and Sridevi’s younger daughter Khushi walked the ramp for the first time with her rumored boyfriend Vedang Raina.
After the event, she spoke to the media about her experience and shared the advice Janhvi gave her before the show. Khushi revealed, “Janhvi told me to be calm, be present, and listen to the music.” Additionally, the Bawaal actress gave her little sister some quick tips and encouraged her to be herself before her runway debut.
On the work front, Khushi Kapoor is currently filming for her upcoming romantic comedy movie, Naadaniyaan, alongside Saif Ali Khan’s son Ibrahim Ali Khan. Directed by debutant director Shauna Gautam, the film is produced by Karan Johar.
Meanwhile, Janhvi Kapoor is gearing up for her Telugu debut in Koratala Siva’s Devara: Part 1. She will be starring with South star NTR Jr., as well as Saif Ali Khan, Prakash Raj, and Srikanth. The action drama film is set for a theatrical release on September 27, 2024.
