Playing Games: Akshay Kumar confesses he is dependent on his phone; discloses Vaani Kapoor’s amusing search history
Akshay Kumar is gearing up for another movie in 2024 called Khel Khel Mein, scheduled to release on August 15. As the film approaches its release date, the star cast including Ammy Virk, Vaani Kapoor, Fardeen Khan, Aditya Seal, and Pragya Jaiswal sat down for an interview. During the discussion about the film, they also shared some interesting anecdotes about their co-stars. It was revealed that Khiladi Kumar admitted he cannot live without his mobile phone.
During a conversation with Instant Bollywood, Akshay Kumar mentioned that he is one of those people who can’t be separated from their phones. Fardeen Khan added that he uses calming music to help him sleep better. However, they all agreed that Ammy is the one who is least bothered about his phone.
When asked who among them might have an ’embarrassing search history’, the Sarfira actor quickly pointed at his co-star, Vaani Kapoor. It was also revealed that Fardeen has a dating app on his phone that he “downloaded but never used.” Akshay Kumar and the Khel Khel Mein team also had an exclusive chat with Pinkvilla.
During the interview about his career trajectory, Kumar also discussed dealing with criticism. He mentioned that his reaction to criticism depends on the source it is coming from. “What is the person’s background, what have they done in life,” the Bade Miyan Chote Miyan actor elaborated, stating the different types of criticism.
He further said, “One is personal criticism, where the person gets personal. The other is someone who wants the other person to improve, which comes from the heart. I appreciate that kind of criticism, take it positively, understand it, and make changes accordingly. I have made many changes because of criticism. When I hear constructive criticism that makes sense to me, I act on it.” Apart from these actors, Taapsee Pannu will also play a pivotal role in the movie directed by Mudassar Aziz.
