Kesha Confronts Body-Shamers with Empowering Message
Kesha isn’t going to give these haters a microphone.
The “Tik Tok” singer recently issued a message to her body-shamers.
“I didn’t think in 2024 people still body shamed but. I am so proud of my body,” Kesha wrote on Instagram July 7 alongside photos of herself in a black bikini. “She’s been through a lot. She’s torn her ACL on stage and finished the show. She’s held my f–king broken heart together.”
And she made it clear she isn’t going to let these critics bring her down.
“To those who think you’re shaming me, you’re actually making me feel very powerful,” the two-time Grammy nominee continued. “So, to you, I hope you one day feel whole enough to not tear other women down. In the mean time, hate me harder b—h:).”
After reading Kesha’s message, several stars headed to the comments to show her some love.
“F–K YES,” Betty Who wrote underneath the post, “YOU ARE SO GORGEOUS!!!!!” Added Kyle Richards, “So beautiful inside and out.”
