Keith Urban Provides Update on Nicole Kidman Following Her Mother’s Passing
Nicole Kidman is feeling supported amid her heartbreak.
Following the passing of Janelle Ann Kidman, the mother of the Perfect Couple star, Keith Urban provided an update on how his wife and family are coping.
“We’re getting through,” he told E! News at the iHeart Radio Music Festival on Sept. 22. “It brings the family closer together.”
In response to the overwhelming support for Nicole from the public, Keith, who shares daughters Sunday Rose and Faith Margaret with Nicole, expressed gratitude, saying, “She feels it. Thank you.” (For more updates from the iHeart Radio Music Festival, watch E! News tonight, Sept. 23.)
The update from the “Let It Roll” singer comes just over two weeks after Janelle’s passing at the age of 84, coinciding with Nicole’s presence at the Venice Film Festival to promote her film Babygirl.
As a result, Halina Rejn, the director of the film, accepted the Best Actress award on Nicole’s behalf and shared the news during her acceptance speech.
