Katy Perry Turns to Orlando Bloom and Daughter Daisy as Her “Focus Group”
Katy Perry‘s family members are always honest with her when it comes to giving feedback.
The former American Idol judge recently shared how her fiancé Orlando Bloom and their 4-year-old daughter Daisy Dove helped her test her latest ice cream flavor, Baby You’re a Firework Blue Raspberry, created in collaboration with McConnell’s Fine Ice Creams.
“My family was definitely my focus group,” she told E! News exclusively about the new flavor, which features blue raspberry ice cream swirled with homemade raspberry jam and rainbow sprinkles. “We went through three rounds of taste tests before finalizing the recipe!”
Katy hinted that the ice cream, now available for purchase, may have been enjoyed at her daughter’s birthday celebration on Aug. 26. She mentioned, “Let’s just say there was ice cream involved!”
Her latest business venture also pays homage to her roots in Santa Barbara, where McConnell’s is a beloved establishment. Katy still lives there with her partner, Pirates of the Caribbean star, and their daughter.
