Katie Holmes Talks About Daughter Suri and Style Evolution
Katie Holmes shares that her fashion sense evolved after becoming a mother.
The actress, known for her role in Batman Begins, reflected on the changes in her style since becoming a mom to her daughter Suri Cruise, who is now 18 years old, with her ex-husband Tom Cruise.
During an interview published on June 8 by the U.K. newspaper The Times, Katie was asked if motherhood had influenced her sense of style. She responded, “I feel like, in some ways, yes.”
Now 45 years old, Katie explained, “When my child was very young, I found myself drawn to wearing dresses. Different stages of motherhood impact what you feel comfortable wearing. As time has passed, my style has evolved in various ways.”
Katie revealed that she now enjoys wearing vintage clothing. “Living in New York City, I prioritize practical and comfortable pieces,” she added. “Most of the time, you can find me in ballet flats, sneakers, loose jeans, and a T-shirt.”
