Lottie Moss, Sister of Kate Moss, Admitted to Hospital for Ozempic Overdose
Ozempic is no joke for the comedian. Handler shared that her “anti-aging doctor” prescribed the medication without her knowing the nature of the drug.
“I was unaware that I was taking it,” she mentioned on the Jan. 25, 2023 episode of Call Her Daddy. “She said, ‘If you ever want to lose five pounds, this is a good option.’
However, after trying the medication, Handler admitted that she did not enjoy how it made her feel.
“After returning from a trip, I administered the injection,” she recounted. “A few days later, I went to lunch with a friend who mentioned feeling nauseous and revealed she was on Ozempic. At that moment, I realized I was feeling nauseous too, but I attributed it to jet lag from my recent trip to Spain.”
Eventually, Handler decided to discontinue the use of Ozempic since it was not necessary for her health. She gave the remaining doses to friends.
“I ended up injecting four or five of my friends with Ozempic because I didn’t see the need to use it myself,” she explained. “It’s more suited for individuals struggling with weight issues. I had friends visiting my house and I was casually offering them doses at different times.”
