Kate Middleton’s Uncle Talks about Her Health Progress
Kate Middleton‘s family members are sharing their thoughts on her recovery process.
As the Princess of Wales continues to recover from abdominal surgery, her uncle Gary Goldsmith provided insight into why she has chosen to stay out of the public eye.
“She doesn’t want to discuss it,” explained Carole Middleton’s younger brother to Celebrity Big Brother UK housemate Ekin-Su Culculoglu on the March 6 episode. “There is a certain etiquette to follow. But if there is an announcement, I will share my opinion.”
“I have spoken to her mother, my sister,” he added. “She is receiving top-notch care. The entire family has rallied around to support and prioritize family above everything else.”
Despite growing curiosity about Kate’s recovery, the palace has consistently emphasized the 42-year-old’s privacy.
“Kensington Palace clarified in January the schedule for the princess’s recovery and stated that only significant updates would be provided,” a spokesperson informed E! News on Feb. 29. “That policy remains in place.”
