Kate Middleton Secretly Resumes Royal Duties After Surgery Rehabilitation
Kate Middleton is back at work.
Working from home, that is. The Princess of Wales took a step back from her royal duties following abdominal surgery in January. She has been overseeing a U.K. study commissioned and funded by her Royal Foundation Centre for Early Childhood. This study tested the feasibility of a new baby behavior observation tool.
A spokesperson from the Palace stated in a March 21 interview with the Telegraph newspaper, “The Princess has been kept updated throughout the process.”
The 10-month study concluded with “overwhelmingly positive” results, as reported by the Institute of Health Visiting on March 21. The study focused on evaluating the Alarm Distress Baby Scale (ADBB) and its shorter version, the m-ADBB, in assessing infants’ social behaviors during routine health visits. Participants in the study, mainly health workers, rated both training programs highly and acquired “additional knowledge and skills” for interpreting their observations.
