Kate Middleton and Prince William Appear in Public Despite Photo Controversy
Kate Middleton appears to be addressing speculation. Five days after taking responsibility for an edited photo posted for U.K. Mother’s Day, she was spotted at a farm shop in Windsor, U.K.
During the March 16 outing, Kate sported a casual look in black leggings, a black windbreaker, and athletic shoes. In a video shared on March 18 outside Windsor Farm Shop, the 42-year-old was seen smiling as she carried a plastic bag of her purchases, accompanied by Prince William, who kept a low profile with a salmon-colored baseball cap and jeans.
(E! News reached out to verify the video’s authenticity but has not received a response.)
On March 10, Kensington Palace shared a photo of Kate with her children Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis. The photo, reportedly taken by Prince William, was removed from several publications due to concerns over its editing.
In response to the photo controversy, Kate offered an explanation on X (formerly Twitter) on March 11, expressing apologies for any confusion caused by the family photograph and wishing everyone a happy Mother’s Day.
