Kate Middleton Makes First Public Appearance After Completing Chemotherapy
On Sept. 9, nearly six months after revealing she had been diagnosed with cancer, Kate announced that she has completed her chemotherapy treatment.
“As the summer draws to a close, I am incredibly relieved to have finished my chemotherapy treatment,” the princess stated in a video message. “The past nine months have been extremely challenging for our family. Life can change in an instant, and we have had to navigate through uncertain waters.”
The princess, who is also a mother to sons Prince George (11) and Prince Louis (6) with William, added, “My main focus now is staying cancer-free. Even though chemotherapy is over, my road to full recovery is lengthy, and I must take each day as it comes.”
She went on to say, “I am eager to return to work and participate in more public events in the upcoming months.”
