Kate Hudson Explains How Fear Has Driven Her Transition into a Music Career
Kate Hudson has just unveiled her strategy for overcoming self-doubt in either 10 days or years.
The former star of Almost Famous recently jumped into the music scene by releasing her debut single “Talk About Love” on Jan. 30. She collaborated on this track with her fiancé Danny Fujikawa and music legend Linda Perry.
In an exclusive interview with E! News, Kate confessed, “When it came to music and songwriting, I felt it was time. I had a deep fear of rejection when it came to sharing my writing. Why expose myself in such a vulnerable way?”
The actress, known for her role in How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days, had always lived by the motto “if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.” However, she realized the importance of stepping out of her comfort zone.
“As time passed and I grew older, I came to understand that my fear was actually holding me back,” she revealed. “Taking risks has been exhilarating for me, motivating me to pursue my dreams as an artist and continue to put myself out there.”
