Why did Karisma Kapoor stay away from the limelight post-marriage?
Speaking to Grazia recently, the 49-year-old actress revealed her aversion to the term “comeback” and shared her reasons for staying away from the limelight. Kapoor explained, “I had young children and as a mother, it was important for me not to miss out on those moments. It’s a personal choice that I made.”
While not actively pursuing mainstream acting projects, Karisma remained relevant through cameo appearances, a pregnancy book, a radio show, and various ads and endorsements. She expressed contentment with her decisions, saying, “I have no regrets. It’s important to be confident and make choices in life.”

In the same interview, the actress discussed the meaning of motherhood to her. She described it as being a “Master Of Multitasking,” emphasizing the importance of mothers being able to juggle various responsibilities effectively.
Reflecting on her recent OTT debut in Homi Adjania’s Murder Mubarak, Kapoor highlighted her ability to navigate a hectic shooting schedule despite initial nerves. She encouraged mothers to pursue their goals with determination.
